The problems with entering your photos in exhibitions are a little daunting. First you need to print your photo, and then mount and frame it. Then you need to ship or hand deliver your framed photo to the exhibition venue. Then, if it doesn’t sell, you have to go pick it up or have it mailed back. A lot of work for a tiny bit of glory.
The Covid-19 pandemic had pushed a lot of activities online, including photo and art exhibitions. This makes submitting your work for consideration a lot simpler. In most cases, you just need to upload an appropriately sized JPEG image file to a website. No printing, framing, driving to the venue (usually twice) or shipping to a distant location.
If you have ever considered showing your work in an exhibition, this is a good time to give it a try.

A word about rejections
Everyone feesl disappointed when they get rejected for an exhibition. But it happens frequently. It’s not a reflection of your work; it just means that the juror, in his or her subjective opinion, found other work that fit more with the other selected entries. Don’t take it personal.
I generally try to have several submissions to exhibitions pending. That way, when I get rejected I still have other possibilities. I don’t put all my eggs on one basket!
If anyone has questions, give me a shout.
